  • IC Markets is migrating its website from icmarkets.com to ic.com this Saturday, July 11th, with brief interruptions expected but no impact on referral links.
  • The move continues IC’s broader rebrand, launched via its Haas F1 partnership, while its core mission and trading conditions stay the same.

SYDNEY — Online broker IC Markets said its main web address will change from icmarkets.com to ic.com this weekend, the latest and most visible move in a rebranding effort the multi-asset CFD provider has been rolling out for months.

The company said the migration is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th, running from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. GMT+3 — a window chosen deliberately because many CFD markets are closed during those hours. IC Markets said the switchover should be finished within the day, though it cautioned that its website and trading platform could experience intermittent service interruptions while the work is carried out. The broker said all services and full access would be restored by the end of the day.

What the ic.com Migration Means for Open Positions

For traders with positions open over the weekend, the company urged caution. It advised clients to take appropriate steps to limit unnecessary market exposure during the transition and, for anyone planning to hold trades through the migration, to keep enough free margin in their accounts to guard against a potential stop-out if volatility moves against them while support may be limited.

Partners were given one piece of reassurance: the company said referral links and their underlying functionality would not be affected by the domain change, meaning affiliate tracking and commissions should continue to operate as normal throughout the migration.

A Rebrand Years in the Making

The shift to ic.com is being framed by the company as the first step in a broader series of updates still to come, rather than a one-off cosmetic change. IC Markets said the rebranding push actually began with its partnership announcement with the Haas Formula 1 team late last year, which marked the debut of the streamlined “IC” identity. The new logo appeared on the team’s livery and was placed on the VF-25 car itself, including the cockpit headrests, front wing and halo.

The company described the visual overhaul as a reflection of a broadening product line, one that now stretches well beyond the CFD offering the brand built its name on. Even so, IC Markets said its underlying mission has not shifted alongside the branding: it continues to position itself around reliable CFD trading, competitive trading conditions, a high degree of transparency, and execution speeds under 40 milliseconds.

Founded in Australia in 2007 by Andrew Budzinski, IC Markets has grown into one of the more established names among multi-asset CFD providers. The group’s footprint has continued to expand this year with the launch of IC Funded, its proprietary trading arm, which went live in recent months as part of the same broader push to diversify beyond traditional CFD brokerage.

Traders are advised to check the broker’s official channels on the day of the migration for real-time updates should any service disruptions extend beyond the announced window.
