Who we are
Choosing a broker, an exchange, or a wallet is hard. Every provider says it is the best. Most review sites make money from the same companies they review. That makes honest answers rare.
We started MarketsXplora in 2023 to fix that. We write plain-English, evidence-based guides that are clear about risk. We base our verdicts on research and testing, not on who pays us.
We are based in Lagos, Nigeria. Our readers come from around the world.
Our story
MarketsXplora began in June 2023. Its founder, Samson Ononeme, did not come to financial media as an outsider. He has spent more than twelve years inside it.
From 2017 to 2022, Samson worked at AtoZ Markets. He rose to senior editor-in-chief. Along the way, he also wrote behind the scenes as a ghostwriter for respected names in the space, including EarnForex, Kryptomoney, Cryptorunner, and many more. Other industry names have also turned to him for expert input. BrokerChooser, for example, featured his insight as a guest contributor in its guide on how to determine entry points.
That mix gave him a rare view of financial content. He saw how it gets made, how it gets edited, and how it reaches readers. He also saw what readers need from it: clear answers, honest comparisons, and no hype.
In 2023, he decided to build something of his own. He wanted a site where the reader comes first, and where every verdict rests on evidence. So he launched MarketsXplora.
Today, that idea guides every article we publish. We research hard, we test where we can, and we tell you the truth, including the parts a provider would rather you did not read.

How we make money, and why it does not change our verdicts
We earn money in two ways. Some links are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up. We also sell advertising, such as banners and sponsored placements.
