SAO PAULO (MarketsXplora) – Webull Financial LLC, a trading platform subsidiary of China-based Webull Corp, on Tuesday launched operations in Brazil, seeking to tap local interest in U.S. stock investments.
The multi-asset trading app offers Brazilian retail investors affordable access to trade American stocks, ETFs and options, Webull said in a statement.
After establishing itself in ten overseas markets over the past three years, Webull is confident of strong demand in Brazil and has set up a Sao Paulo office with Portuguese-language staff to customise offerings for local users.
“With a latent market interested in investing abroad, we have designed Webull’s Brazilian platform locally to consider the needs and preferences of Brazilian retail investors,” said Webull Brazil CEO Ruben Guerrero, who also heads Latin American expansion.
Parent group president Anthony Denier highlighted Webull’s analytical tools aimed at helping investors maximise returns.
Webull’s Brazil foray follows its acquisition of respected local brokerage H.H. Picchioni, pending central bank approval, demonstrating its long-term commitment to the market, it added.
Webull Financial serves global retail traders as a licensed U.S. securities broker-dealer and member of FINRA and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).
The app has proven popular among individual investors globally for its interface experience, charting capabilities, research tools and educational content.
Competitors such as Robinhood have also targeted latent Brazilian interest in U.S. stock trading as local brokerage apps multiply.
