DUBLIN (MarketsXplora) – German digital bank N26 announced on Wednesday the introduction of its Stocks and ETFs trading product in Ireland, further expanding its suite of financial services and making equity markets more accessible to novice investors.
The new offering, which will be rolled out to Irish account holders in the coming weeks, allows customers to manage their investment portfolios directly through the N26 app, alongside existing features such as personal bank accounts, savings accounts, joint accounts, and cryptocurrency holdings.
N26 Stocks and ETFs will initially offer trading in over 500 popular European and U.S. stocks, as well as global ETFs, with plans to expand to more than a thousand tradable assets in the coming months.
“With this new feature, we are further expanding our product portfolio, and building on the recent launches of N26 Instant Savings and Joint Accounts to offer our Irish customers one of the most attractive investment and saving products in the market,” said Valentin Stalf, Founder and CEO at N26.
N26 Brings Commission-Free Trading to Ireland
The digital bank has set a competitive pricing structure of 0.90 EUR per trade, with no commission or custody fees. N26 You and N26 Metal members will benefit from free trades as part of their subscription packages, receiving 5 and 15 free transactions per month, respectively.
To encourage regular investing habits, N26 is also offering free Investment Plans, allowing customers to automate recurring investments.
This launch follows N26’s recent introduction of N26 Crypto in France, a cryptocurrency trading product that enables customers to invest in over 200 cryptocurrencies directly through the N26 app. The crypto service is available to eligible clients with French or German IBANs across all membership levels, including free accounts, without additional charges.
The company stated that N26 Stocks and ETFs will be progressively made available to eligible customers in Ireland in the near future, as it continues to broaden its product range and compete in the increasingly crowded digital banking space.
