The centerpiece of the update transforms how users interact with decentralized applications across Solana, Ethereum, and other EVM-compatible networks. Instead of the traditional approach where users approve transactions based on limited information, Tangem's new WalletConnect interface now "dry-runs" every transaction off-chain before any signature occurs. This transaction simulation technology computes exact balance changes, uncovers potential smart-contract errors, and flags hidden operations, delivering what Tangem describes as a "human-readable preview" of on-chain effects. Version 5.27 Release Expands Token Coverage Beyond security enhancements, version 5.27 significantly expands Tangem's token support through integration with Stellar and XRP Ledger networks, both designed as high-speed, low-cost payment rails for cross-border transactions. The Stellar network integration enables direct storage, sending, and receiving of XLM tokens plus various stablecoins including USDC and EURC, alongside project tokens such as SHX, RIO, WXT, MOBI, NWC, and TFT.
