Apple Watch Series 9
The new generation of Watches received a new processor – Series 9, which is on average 50% faster than the previous model. The battery life, as before, will be 18 hours. The maximum screen brightness is 2000 nits, twice that of the Series 8.
Apple Watch Series 9 with an aluminum casing will be available in five colors: hot pink, rose gold, silver, blue and red. A modification in a steel case in gold, silver and pink colors will also be available.
Sales of the Apple Watch Series 9 will begin on September 22, starting at $399. Along with the watch, it will be possible to buy new strap options.
Apple Watch Ultra 2
Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a more expensive model than Series 9, starting at $799. Works twice as hard and shines brighter (3000 nits). The battery provides up to 36 hours of operation without recharging (Series 9 – up to 24 hours).
Apple Watch Ultra 2 also includes improved workout and activity tracking algorithms, custom watch faces, and advanced analysis capabilities for collected workout data. These watches can withstand water pressure when submerged to a depth of 40 m.
According to Apple, the new Apple Watch is the company’s first completely carbon-neutral product.
iPhone 15
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will now have a USB-C connector instead of Lightning. The screen diagonal of the iPhone 15 is 6.1 inches, and the iPhone 15 Plus is 6.7 inches. The display brightness is 2000 nits, twice as bright as previous models.
Both smartphones received Dynamic Island (“Dynamic Island”) – an oblong cutout at the top of the screen that houses the front camera, which was previously only in the 14 Pro models.
The camera is 48 megapixels, it supports shooting in a variety of modes, including 4K, at night or in motion.
In addition, portrait mode has been improved and new technologies have been introduced to improve the quality of photos.
The devices will be available in five colors – green, blue, pink, yellow and black. iPhone 15 starts at $799, iPhone 15 Plus starts at $899.
iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
The company also introduced the flagship Pro and Pro Max smartphone models – they have changed the most. The devices received a body made of titanium, which is used in the manufacture of Mars rovers, in black, gray and blue colors – stronger and lighter than previous models.
The screen sizes for this model will remain the same – 6.1 and 6.7 inches, but due to the new material, the devices themselves will be slightly smaller.
The silent mode switch has disappeared. Additionally, iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max can record 3D video (Spatial Video) for playback on the Vision Pro MR headset.
Apple called the iPhone 15 Pro/Max “the company’s most professional smartphone ever, with the best camera ever on an iPhone” and “the best gaming smartphone in the world.”
